Blue Ridge Country Club in Galax, Va. offers a variety of memberships to meet the needs of individuals, families and businesses. Blue Ridge Country Club is a semi-private club that provides social and recreational opportunities to it's members and their guests. Our golf course is well maintained, challenging and enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Our Swimming Pool, Banquet Room, Pro Shop, Men's and Women's Locker Rooms and Snack Bar offer additional convenience and enjoyment for our members and guests.
We are an active club with multiple tournaments held each year for both men and women. Our Ladies Association plays most weeks from May-September. Our Men's Senior Group is also very active with both club and inter-club play.
Blue Ridge Country Club's members also enjoy reciprocal playing privileges at some of Southwest Virginia's and Northwest North Carolina's best golf courses. See our Reciprocal Privileges page for the current list.
Details
Membership is on an annual basis and annual dues are incurred as of January 1st each year. All applications for stock and membership must be approved by the Board of Directors. Cart Fees are not included in dues or stock purchase, however cart packages are available for purchase. See our Cart Packages page for details.

Common Stock Purchase
Class A and Class B Memberships require the purchase of Class A or Class B Common stock, respectively. All purchases or transfers of stock must be approved by the board of directors. Stock is payable either in full or over a 3-year period. Class A Common stock is available for purchase by individuals only, and only one share shall be issued to any individual. Class B Common stock is available for purchase by businesses and holders of Class A shares. Class B Common stock may be upgraded to Class A Common stock by paying an additional fee. Please inquire at the Pro Shop or call the club for current stock prices.

Class A Membership
Entitles the member, their dependents, and members of his, or her, immediate family under the age of 18 (22 if a full-time student) who reside with him, or her, to all privileges of the club subject to the payment of annual dues as set forth in the application Dues are $720.00 per year payable annually or quarterly. Requires purchase of Class A Common Stock.

Class B Membership
Requires purchase of Class B Common stock. Available for purchase by businesses, whether operated as sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation. The person in whose name the Class B share was issued shall become a member, entitled to full privileges and under the same duties and obligations as a Class A member (except voting), for a term of one year. Membership may be renewed, or a new person named to the membership by the business subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Dues are $720.00 per year payable annually or quarterly. Requires purchase of Class B Common Stock.

Extended Area Membership
Available to persons and their dependents living outside of a 50-mile radius from the club grounds and is subject to payment of annual dues as set forth in the application. Stock ownership in the corporation for this type of membership is not required. Dues are $720.00 per year payable annually.

Non-Stock Membership
Provides all the privileges of regular membership except voting. No stock ownership required. Dues are $970.00 per year payable annually or quarterly. Membership term will run for a 12-month period commencing upon approval of application.

Student Membership
Available to students under the age of 18 (22 if a full-time student) subject to payment of annual dues. No stock ownership required. Dues are $325.00 per year payable annually.

Trial Membership
